Media Registration

Requirements for Admission

In order to attend SIGGRAPH 2016 as a member of the media, you must complete the following steps:

  • Fill out the online registration form. Registration is tied to individuals, not an organization, so each individual needs to fill out the form, even if from the same publication.
  • Once the online form as been submitted, email the required materials from your publication type (in the chart below) to Katie Mowery.
  • Wait to receive an email containing application status. Applications will be rejected if materials provided do not meet the requirements outlined below. 

Please reference the chart below regarding supporting documentation needed for registration. ​

Media Outlet Type

Supporting Documentation Required
  • Print Media (Periodicals, Newspapers, Weeklies, & Magazines)
  • News Wire or News Management Services
  • Broadcast Media (Radio & Television)
  • Online Media & Freelance Journalists

Please provide one item from Section A and one from Section B.

Section A

  1. Business card that clearly displays organization and individual’s name.
  2. Current masthead that clearly displays organization and individual’s name.
  3. Link to profile on media outlet’s public website.

Section B

  1. Signed letter of assignment from representing media  organization.
  2. 3 industry-related bylined articles published within the last 12 months. 

 
  • Podcast & Blogs

Please provide one item from Section A and one from Section B.

Section A

  1. Link to podcast or blog that contains content directly related to the industries covered at SIGGRAPH 2016. (Note, personal podcasts and blogs will not be accepted.)

Section B

  1. Signed letter of assignment from representing media organization.
  2. 3 industry-related podcasts or blogs from an established media outlet within the last 12 months. 

 
  • Analysts

Please provide one item from Section A and one from Section B.

Section A

  1. Business card that clearly displays organization and individual’s name.
  2. Current masthead that clearly displays organization and individual’s name.

Section B

  1. Signed letter of assignment from representing media organization.
  2. 2 white papers or analytical product reviews within the last 12 months.

Upon receipt of your online submission and supporting documentation, your information will be reviewed. If you are approved for SIGGRAPH 2016 media registration, a written confirmation will be sent to you via email. Your confirmation WILL NOT include your media badge. You must have a photo ID to pick-up your media badge in person at the Media Headquarters Office at the Anaheim Convention Center. 

The deadline for advance media registration is July 7, 2016. All media registrations processed and approved by July 7 will be provided to SIGGRAPH 2016 Exhibitors.

All the required supporting documentation must be emailed to Katie Mowery.
