This session focuses on initiatives that aim to preserve the materials and information generated over the years for the annual SIGGRAPH conference. Frank Foster presents some of the ideas behind the ongoing "Story of Computer Graphics” film project as well as the mission of the SIGGRAPH Pioneer Group. Anna Ursyn provides an overview of the History of Computer Graphics and Digital Art Project. Jan Searleman and Bonnie Mitchell discuss the new SIGGRAPH Art Show Archives. These materials provide a valuable resource for researchers, art historians, artists, educators, and anyone interested in the history of SIGGRAPH or digital art. Attendees are encouraged to provide feedback and get involved.
